Stan started Johnson & Company at the beginning of 1992 after being the Senior Partner in charge of one of the country's larger executive search practices. During his 15 years there, Stan managed the expansion of the search practice from its initial marketing/sales orientation and a handful of people to a wide-ranging general practice with five offices and nearly 100 employees. Stan’s early business experience came from over six years in the General Advertising Division of Procter & Gamble where he was promoted through a series of new product, consumer promotion and sales assignments.

Stan’s personal reputation includes selection as one of North Americas 250 most accomplished individual recruiters on the basis of frequency of mention from 8,000 colleagues in senior management at Fortune 500 companies, clients and other firms in the search industry.

Steve joined Johnson & Company in 2005 with over 40 years of corporate
management and consulting experience in Human Resources. His
professional portfolio of experience covers the full spectrum of the HR disciplines;

Steve has provided Human Resources leadership at the VP or functional head level for over 25 years in a variety of industries and organizations. His experience includes large corporations; (Continental Can, The Perrier Group of America); mid-sized companies (Dawson Consumer Products PLC, Swiss Army Brands, Inc.) and small privately held companies, such as, executive search (Lindsey & Co) and HR consulting (Goodrich & Sherwood).

His career has been dedicated to the design and implementation of human resource policy, practices, and systems in support of business strategy and operating objectives. Consulting initiatives and programs he develops are pragmatic and compatible with the organization¹s human and financial capability to execute.
